The Gomti River Front Development project, spearheaded by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA), is set to transform the area near 1090 Chauraha. A dedicated 2-acre marriage lawn will be developed, providing a venue for weddings and various events. LDA Vice President, Prathamesh Kumar, has emphasized completing the project within two months. Additionally, infrastructure improvements include a pathway construction, an open-air theatre, and the installation of a sprinkler system for efficient plant irrigation. These developments come at an estimated cost of 3 crores INR.
The archery ground near the Women Power Line office has also been developed, covering an area of 150 meters by 100 meters. This facility includes 14 archery targets with various ranges from 10 meters to 100 meters. An 8-foot-high fence has been installed to ensure security. The recent training camp by UP Archery Association was highly praised for its quality and amenities.
Additionally, Janeshwar Mishra Park will see the completion of a 2.5-kilometer synthetic track near Gate No. 7, adding to the boating facilities in the park, offering more recreational options for the public.
