The 302 km long expressway from Agra to Lucknow is a six lane expressway. After the increase in expressway accidents, it has been decided to increase the lanes of the expressway along with safety. Currently the expressway is six lanes, it has to be increased to eight lanes.
Increasing the Agra Lucknow Expressway from six lanes to eight lanes will cost Rs 1939 crore. UPDA has been given the responsibility for this.
