In a major boost to Uttar Pradesh’s tech infrastructure, Sify Technologies has commenced construction of India’s first AI Data Center Hub in CG City, Lucknow, right next to the HCL IT campus. With an investment of ₹1,000 crore, this state-of-the-art facility marks a significant step toward making Lucknow a future-ready digital and technology hub.
The data center will focus on artificial intelligence-driven services and cloud infrastructure, catering to growing demands from enterprises, startups, and government sectors. Its strategic location in CG City, an emerging IT and institutional hub, will strengthen the city’s position on India’s digital map.
The project is expected to generate high-value employment opportunities and attract global tech investments to the region. Once operational, it will not only support AI development across sectors but also enhance data storage, processing, and security capabilities—placing Lucknow at the forefront of India’s digital revolution.
