Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has intensified its crackdown on illegal constructions and plotting across the city. As part of an ongoing enforcement drive, the LDA’s enforcement team demolished two major illegal plotting sites. Approximately 50 bighas of land in Gosainganj and 2 bighas in Sairpur, where unauthorized plotting was underway, were cleared by the authority.
In addition to this, LDA took strict action against illegal commercial construction in the Kakori area. Two commercial buildings, which were being constructed without necessary approvals, were sealed by the enforcement team. These actions are part of LDA’s continuous efforts to curb unregulated development and ensure planned urban growth in the city.
The drive aims to discourage unauthorized real estate activities that pose challenges to infrastructure development and urban planning. LDA officials have stated that such enforcement actions will continue in the coming days, and property owners are advised to obtain all necessary permissions before undertaking any construction or plotting activities.
The authority also urged citizens to report illegal developments in their areas, assuring swift action against violators. This proactive approach is seen as a significant step toward maintaining the city’s structural and environmental integrity.
