A Chennai-based firm has been selected as the nodal consultant agency for the development of the Uttar Pradesh State Capital Region (SCR), which includes Lucknow, Hardoi, Sitapur, Unnao, Rae Bareli, and Barabanki. A team of 18 specialists will work on preparing a comprehensive blueprint for this ambitious project.
Key developments planned for the SCR include two new 100 km ring roads and five elevated corridors, which will significantly improve connectivity and reduce traffic congestion. This initiative will enhance urban infrastructure, attract large-scale investments, and boost the real estate market in Lucknow and surrounding districts.
With improved accessibility, property demand and prices are expected to rise, making it a lucrative opportunity for homebuyers and investors.
